Who we are

Masdon Custom Cabinets is a family owned and operated custom cabinet shop. It was started in 1969 by my father, Jasper Masdon. We follow the time tested principals my father used while building his cabinet business:

• Individual attention given to each customer.
• Attention to detail
• The job done right the first time.
• Only the best quality of materials used in manufacture, assembly, and finishes.

The cabinets that we build today are still built much the same way they were when my father started. Pieces are still cut and fitted by hand. However, with the advances in technology and specialization in the wood working industry, we subcontract out the manufacture of certain parts because the subcontractors can produce the part more cost effectively than we can. Each subcontractor’s parts we use have to meet out standards of quality.

While our cabinets are primarily still built the same way, our finishes have kept pace with the times and the request of our customers. Our finishes range from the distressed, weathered look to the smooth high gloss shine.

What we do

Now that you know who we are, let’s take a look at what we do. Our primary work is custom kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets (vanities). We also design and build custom bars, bookcases and desks.

What you should Know

If you ask the people who we have done work for in the past about us they will tell you that we never compromise quality for speed. We could be faster, but then we would be sacrificing two of our most important principals: doing the job right the first time and paying attention to details. As my father always said “If you do not have time to do it right the first time, how are you going to have time to do it a second time?”

Our custom work takes a little longer than it would if you went to a home center and bought a pre-fabricated set of cabinets or to some other builder. However, after their cabinets are installed you have just a set of kitchen cabinets; with ours you have kitchen furniture that you will be proud to show your friends and family.
